A voltage issue at SCE's pole outside my house caused some of my appliances to burn out, which included the electronic thermostat. It had been cold at night - down into the 20's and 30's - so I was eager to get it fixed.
When I called RKM to diagnose the problem they were booked for a couple days but I made an appointment. The morning of the service call I received an 'auto-text' telling me they were in route, and a phone call from the technician when he was about 20 minutes away. Ron showed up and was very professional, friendly, competent, clean, and respected my property. He determined the HVAC transformer had been burned out as well as the thermostat and promptly replaced it with a new one he had on his truck. Within a couple hours the furnace was working like new and the new thermostat I'd purchased separately (off Amazon - Vine smart thermostat, wifi connected) was controlling it like a champ.

This company really is in a class above all others. They are so professional and knowledgeable. I was without heat and they made sure they came out FAST so I wouldn't freeze. Gave me options and explained everything they were doing. Definitely put the customer first. I feel I was listened to and was treated with respect.

Called RKM last week when I had another company come out a few days prior to inspect an on going AC issue. The company I had prior to reaching out to RKM had given me a suspicious diagnostic to my AC issue. I decide to get a second opinion so I did some research and came across RKM which had outstanding reviews and had a great business profile BBB etc...
I'm glad I did because RKM was outstanding from the very first phone call that I made to them. The person that took my initial phone call was Alicia (I believe that's her name) and she was wonderful at listening to my chief concerns and offering a sound solution. She was very prompt with scheduling me an appointment a few days out with numerous follow ups confirming the appointment leading into the consultation day.
It was a great pleasure to have Richard arrive at my house and have such a very well experienced and true gentleman of his craft service my request. Richard was very knowledgeable and has an amazing attention to detail. Furthermore, his communication with his findings along the way was on point. His work was thorough, precise, and more importantly... honest! He answered all my questions and I loved the fact that he took pictures of the issues that needed repair and attached them a long with his assessment of the situation and sent to me via email.
This sort of value and work ethic is hard to come by these days but RKM and Richard went above and beyond with exceptional service! Do not hesitate to call them for your repairs and definitely request Richard! 5 google stars is not enough so I give them another five of my own.
